The Breakthrough Initiatives Listen project has committed to improving the work of SETI. The use of several telescopes in Europe, South America, and Asia has expanded the search for proof of intelligent life to new areas. Milner has partnered with the University of Manchester in the U.K. to look back at decades of radio telescope research. The Breakthrough Initiatives Listen projects have already made several discoveries hidden in the research of SETI from the last few decades.
