Eamon O'Rourke Some people have things that can be clearly seen. For other people it is not so obvious. When a young man named Eamon O’Rourke was growing up he was diagnosed as epileptic. This has become a mission for him. He wants people to know that others with epilepsy want to be treated like everyone else. He is doing this by releasing a documentary he created called Asking For It. He wants to teach people and let them know what epilepsy is all about. He has released it in November which is National Epilepsy Month. He wamts to get his message out to as many people as he can.

Eamon O’Rourke says that living with epilepsy is not an easy task. He has to make sure to keep an eye on the risk factors that can contribute to a seizure. He says that two of the main ones are not getting enough sleep at night and getting stressed in various situations. It was not easy for him to make this movie but he was glad he did it. Some days were harder than others and it made the effort all the more worthwhile. Now he wants to be a good steward and get his has been worth it and it is paying off in a big way. message to the public. Education is the key for him. That is why he worked so hard on this project. He says that his seizures can vary at times. They can be very short or ten to fifteen minutes long. It is frightening for him. He wants to help understand the disease in any way he can. He has been part of numerous studies and it still is a hard disease to figure out. He is still working hard to umlock the mystery behind his disorder. Things may not be easy for him during the day but he wants to get the job done. Sometimes he has to take breaks and that can be stressful for him. That is why he made the film. It is definitely his baby.
