Dr. Leen Kawas co-founded Propel Bio Partners, an equity investment company. She is known for co-founding Athira Pharma/M3Biotechnology in which she worked tirelessly on solving neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

As a supporter of entrepreneurs who are on a mission to make a difference, Dr. Leen Kawas has received honors for her efforts. These include, the Life Science Entrepreneurial Achievement Award and the Alzheimer’s Cure Coin Award. Dr. Kawas attended Washington State University where she obtained a doctorate in pharmacology and completed the Executive Training Program at the University of Washington. She is one of 22 female CEOs and founders to lead their firm to a successful IPO. Dr. Leen Kawas was the first female in more than 20 years to bring their company to an IPO in the state of Washington.

They should operate with innovative and strategic thinking , and possess teams that have a mindset for growth. Dr. Kawas will seek the most creative and talented individuals, and, in turn, will help people live smarter and happier in their lives. Dr. Leen Kawas expects to bring “smart money” to their firms, and they’ve accomplished the development of drugs in a highly efficient manner.
