Doug Haynes Co-Partner of Council Advisors

DoughBesides being the Managing Associate at Council Advisors, Doug Haynes has been a consultant to top administrators in private and public firms. He graduated from university with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, but after working in various industries, he developed an interest in consulting. Doug started his career in technology bet later joined the business school to study his consultancy career. Before becoming the CEO of Council Advisors, he worked in different companies. Doug has worked as a software developer for the CIA before joining Mckinsey & company.

Doug Haynes joined McKinsey in 1992, where he worked for two decades as a director and gained experience in the executive role. There he built relationships with other top executives. Haynes also co-founded the company’s technological services Doug Haynes has served in one of the top-ranking equity hedge funds as the director for Point72 Asset Management. Later in his career, he met like-minded individuals with the same aim as him and merged to form a firm that focuses on consultancy.

Doug has worked with some senior executives throughout his consultation career and assisted them with his consultation role. He focuses on helping the executives with consultation on how to carry out the highly demanding task since he also has experience working as a director. Council advisors provide advice based on professionalism and expertise to assist executives in their responsibilities.

Doug donates to non-profit organizations to assist others in need. He is a humanitarian and dedicates his humanitarian work to firms focusing on poverty reduction, making education accessible, and helping veterans. Haynes is a founding member of several veterans foundations in the country and a founding board member of various schools across the country. He is also a member of organizations that assist former and returning soldiers with mental health assistance and funds mental health research to help the veterans.
